This policy applies to visitors to the Madison Construction website and the enquiries they make to us. It explains how Madison Construction (NSW) Pty Ltd (ABN 35 699 101 614) handles that information and how you can contact us about it.
What we collect and why
The website enquiry form asks for your name, email address and a short brief about the proposed work. If you call or email us about an enquiry, we may also receive your phone number, job title, organisation, property or project details, and anything else you choose to tell us.
We use this information to respond, understand the proposed works, arrange discussions or site visits, prepare a scope or proposal, and manage any resulting relationship. We may keep related correspondence and project records for administration, dispute resolution, security and legal obligations.
You can browse the site without sending an enquiry. If you do not give us a way to reply or enough detail about the work, we may be unable to respond meaningfully. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the form. If we receive information we do not need, we will avoid using it and remove it when reasonably practicable, subject to any legal need to keep a record. Sending an enquiry does not add you to a marketing mailing list. We do not sell personal information.
How we handle your information
Website enquiries are processed and stored through Wix Forms. Madison receives a notification at its business email address and may keep related email and project records. Only Mark Rimac has access to Madison’s Wix submissions and business mailbox.
Wix and Madison’s email provider process information to operate the website, form and email service. Wix may also process technical information such as an IP address, device and browser details, page requests, and security or anti-spam signals. Cookies or similar technologies may be used to make the site and form work and to protect them. Madison has not added third-party advertising pixels or separate visitor analytics tags to this site.
Madison does not pass website enquiry details to trades, consultants or advisers for scoping or delivery. If sharing becomes necessary for a proposed job, we will ask you first. We may also disclose information if required or permitted by law.
Wix operates internationally. Information handled through the website and form may be processed or stored outside Australia, including in the United States, Ireland, Israel, South Korea and Taiwan, depending on Wix’s service arrangements. Wix’s own privacy information explains its processing and transfers.
We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold against misuse, loss and unauthorised access or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We keep enquiry details and related correspondence while an enquiry or resulting business relationship is active. We then delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless a legal, accounting, insurance or dispute-resolution obligation requires us to keep it longer. This applies to Wix submissions and related business records.
Your rights and questions
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access to it, or ask us to correct something that is inaccurate. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing or changing information.
We will review your request and respond within a reasonable time. If you make a privacy complaint, please contact us first so we can investigate and explain the outcome. If the Privacy Act 1988 applies to your complaint and you are dissatisfied with our response, or we have not responded within 30 days, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
